Browsing the message boards, I found other Mac users who were experiencing this same problem. A Mac user reported on the Apple Discussion Board that he was able to resolve the issue by deleting several files and folders associated with the LeapFrog installation. However, that workaround did not work for my client. Fortunately, she has another Mac that is configured with OS X 10.5.8. I suggested that she install the LeapFrog software on that computer, which she was able to do. By all indications, it appears that LeapFrog has not been updated to run on Snow Leopard.
